Customer support: Customer service is an integral part of doing business today. Proficient customer service personnel have in-depth understanding of the industry and an ability to effectively handle diverse needs of different customers.

According to the TimesJobs.com data, the industry offers numerous opportunities to freshers in the customer support functions. The range of profiles includes customer care associates, travel counselors (domestic & international) and travel consultants. Salary ranges between Rs 2-5 lakh.

Product development: Lastly and most importantly there are product development and innovation experts. The compensation of middle to senior level executives would range between Rs 5-25 lakh.
